Although this is a serious and a sensitive subject, we intend to have some fun at Grande Cache too. One way of doing that is to enter our children into the Kids Canadian Death Race.
The kids race is approximately 5km long, along wilderness trails, through a huge mud bog, which everyone must cross and with one long hill near the end of the course.
Kim's son entered the kid’s race last year and did a marvellous job. He finished in 30 minutes. We watched the race and cheered each and every one of them on. Those kids were awesome and some of them ran until they dropped. They were a real inspiration to all of us.
